The partner of the “International Women’s Union” – the Union of Women’s Forces, sums up the results of a significant competition. The results of the competition for the Public Award of the Union of Women’s Forces “Mother – Heroine”were summed up.
The Organizing Committee of the Public Award received more than 100 applications from applicants. Mothers with many children from all regions of the Russian Federation took part in the competition for the award. The list of finalists includes 46 names of mothers-heroines, whose feat in raising worthy citizens of Russia deserves the most sincere respect and recognition.
The International Women’s Union acts as an information partner.
All finalists in different categories will receive medals made specifically for the contest “Mother-Heroine” of three degrees, “Mother of a Hero”, “Mother of a patriot” and award statuettes made of bronze “Mother”.
The Competition Committee includes members of the Organizing Committee of the Public Award “Mother-Heroine”, representatives of public, non-profit organizations and the business community, scientists and cultural figures. The Competition Commission was headed by Inga Legasova, the Chairman of the Management Board and General Director of the Union of Women’s Forces for the Support of Civil Initiatives and Projects.
The award ceremony for the finalists will be held in Moscow on Children’s Day-June 1, 2021, at the site of the Association of Heroes of Russia and the Club of Heroes of Moscow and the Moscow Region, at the Moscow House of Veterans of Wars and the Armed Forces.
The program of the event includes: greetings to the Mothers-heroines; awarding of the finalists in five categories; a festive concert; a performance of the children’s theater of the pupils of the Nikolo-Solbinsky monastery.
