On June 10, 2026, on the eve of Russia Day celebrations, Moscow will host a major cultural event — the All-Russian Festival of Folk Art “Russia is Us! Harmony of Cultures”. The event is timed to coincide with the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and will become a vibrant platform showcasing the diversity and richness of our country’s traditions.
Organizers of the festival are the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Mari El to the President of the Russian Federation, the International Law Institute, and the Council of Heads of Representations of Russian Regions to the President and Government of the Russian Federation. The event is supported by the Federal Agency for Nationalities Affairs, the Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of the City of Moscow, the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy of the City of Moscow, the Consortium of Value-Oriented Educational Organizations “Novaya Ploshchad”, and other partners.
The festival’s goal is to strengthen all-Russian civic identity, preserve cultural heritage, and develop interethnic dialogue. The organizers aim to create an open creative space where representatives of different generations and regions can share their unique cultures.
Format and Program
Unlike many similar showcases, the festival “Russia is Us! Harmony of Cultures” is non-competitive. It is a celebration of creativity where the main focus is on unity and mutual enrichment.
Guests and participants will enjoy a rich program at the Central House of the Russian Army named after M.V. Frunze (2/1 Suvorovskaya Square, Moscow):
- Opening and closing ceremonies;
- Grand gala concert featuring vocal, choreographic, and folklore ensembles, instrumental groups, and soloists;
- Presentations of Russian regions;
- Exhibition area of decorative and applied arts, where masters will present their works;
- Interactive areas and master classes for all comers.
Who Can Participate?
Creative groups from regional communities, vocal, choreographic, and theater groups, instrumental ensembles, masters of decorative and applied arts, as well as representatives of creative youth and the older generation are invited to participate.
An important condition is the mandatory coordination of participation with the Permanent Mission of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation that the group plans to represent. One group may represent only one region.
How to Apply?
To participate in the festival, you must send a completed application form to the Organizing Committee’s email address: pp@mari-el.gov.ru by April 15, 2026.
The application must be accompanied by a confirmation letter from the region’s Representation on official letterhead.
