The XVI Forum “Business Partners of Tatarstan” was held in Kazan. The forum was attended by about 350 large Tatar entrepreneurs from more than 40 regions of the Russian Federation and more than a dozen countries near and far abroad.
The event was organized by the World Congress of Tatars in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The President of the International Women’s Union, Amirov Alfiya, the Editor-in-Chief of the Online publication Embassy Life, Marat Shakirzyanov, and an Official Representative took part in the forum at the invitation International Women’s Union” in Tatarstan – Safiullova Rima. Our Union is International and we are always open to everyone who is ready and willing to cooperate with us. The forum has established contacts with other regions of the Russian Federation and foreign countries.
On the first day of the forum, the participants visited enterprises in the fields of agriculture, IT-technology, chemical industry, etc.
After familiarization with the enterprises, B2B meetings were held in the fields of agriculture and livestock, industry, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, trade, services, construction, real estate and housing, etc.
The opening of the forum and the meeting of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars took place at the Korston GTRK.
The opening of the forum was attended by:
- Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan-Minullina Taliya
- Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars – Shaikhraziev Vasil and other Speakers.
In the evening of the same day, a gala dinner was held in the beautiful and legendary Tugan Avylym restaurant (Native village) with a performance by artists of Tatarstan.
On the second day of the forum, a plenary session of the XVI forum “Business Partners of Tatarstan” was held with the participation of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan-Rustam Minnikhanov
There was an informal conversation between the forum delegates before the forum.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaikhraziev stressed that the purpose of the forum is to gather Tatar entrepreneurs in Kazan, introduce each other, thereby contributing to the development of new economic contacts with the Republic. “If you want to conduct your work on the territory of Tatarstan, we are always open to cooperation and are waiting for you,” said the moderator of the plenary session.
Rustam Nurgalievich stressed that the Tatarstan Business Partners Forum has become a good platform for maintaining and developing ties with Tatars from other regions of Russia and foreign countries.
He noted that one of the priorities is the preservation and popularization of the native language. “We are ready to provide all possible assistance in learning the Tatar language. Our children and grandchildren should know their mother’s language. Everything else is inherent in the Tatars’ genes: love for parents, work, their religion. This is very important and needs to be supported,” Rais told RT.
Returning to the issue of preserving cultures and traditions, the International Women’s Union annually holds an international photo contest “Mother and Children in National Costumes”, within the framework of which a Lullaby Song in their native Language is held.
