On November 27, Mother’s Day, the All–Russian Women’s Forum “Family is the foundation of the state, a large family is the bulwark and strength of the state” was held in the hall of Church Cathedrals of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, and a ceremony of awarding mothers with many children with the public award of the Union of Women’s Forces “Mother Heroine” was held. More than a thousand participants of this event gathered under the arches of the main Russian Church.
The beginning of the solemn meeting was marked by the anthem of the Russian Federation. Next, fragments of speeches by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and His Holiness Patriarch Kirill about the great role of motherhood with many children and the importance of a strong large family as the basis of a strong state were shown on projection screens in front of the forum participants.
Opening the meeting, the special significance of the forum and the award ceremony was highlighted by the Chairman of the Board and Director General of the Union of Women’s Forces for the Support of Civil Initiatives and Projects, Public Commissioner for Women’s Entrepreneurship in Moscow, Board member of the International Union of Orthodox Women, founder and CEO of RemiLing Inga Valeryevna Legasova. She quoted the words of the chairman of the Patriarchal Commission on Family Issues, Protection of Motherhood and Childhood, Priest Fyodor Lukyanov that Russia needs demographic mobilization and real support for families with children.
Prominent political and public figures, representatives of the authorities and clergy and other Honored guests also made welcoming speeches.
The delegates of the Forum adopted the resolution of the forum. **
The ceremony of awarding the public award of the Union of Women’s Forces “Mother Heroine” was opened by the Chairman of the Board of the Union of Women’s Forces Inga Valeryevna Legasova.
Before the award ceremony, the Vice-President of the Russian Association of Heroes, Hero of the Russian Federation addressed the organizers and participants of the ceremony with a greeting Vyacheslav Vladimirovich Sivko.
The President of the International Women’s Union, Alfiya Amirova, took part in the award ceremony and presented special gifts from the organization in the nominations “The State is me” and “Mother Heroine of the 1st degree”.
The award ceremony was attended by Senators of the Russian Federation, public figures, partners of the project.
From 15.00 to 19:00, a solemn ceremony of awarding 55 mothers with many children in 6 nominations with the public award of the Union of Women’s Forces “Mother Heroine” took place:
1. The first degree is a mother who brings up her own or adopted children from seven
.
2. The second degree is a mother who brings up from five to seven children of her own or
adopted.
3. The third degree is a mother who brings up three to five children of her own or
adopted.
4. The Mother who raised the Hero.
5. A mother who raised a patriot.
6. “The state is me” – mothers with many children who solve, in addition to raising
children, also complex significant socio-political tasks.
The award was established by the Union of Women’s Forces in December 2019, in the year of the 75th anniversary of the Soviet State award “Mother Heroine” and the poster “Mother Heroine”.
