This holiday is a symbol of our common love for the Motherland, its great history, rich culture and incredible diversity of peoples. People of more than 190 nationalities live in our country, and this mosaic of traditions, languages, and customs is Russia’s unique strength. The Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, announced in 2026, reminds us once again: we are united when we respect each other, when we preserve the memory of our ancestors and build the future together.
As the International Union of Women, we see every day how women — guardians of family values, cultural codes and traditions — make the world a kinder place, and the bonds between people are stronger. Our projects — the photo exhibition “Mother and children in national costumes”, the contest “Farmer Woman: faces of the Earth”, the forum “Woman of the Third Millennium” — are just a small part of what we are doing in the name of unity and prosperity of Russia and the whole world.
On this festive day, we wish you peace, love, and prosperity in every home. May each of you be proud of your small homeland, your family, and your roots, and together we remain a big, strong, beautiful, and kind country — Russia.
