President of the International Women’s Union Amirova Alfiya took part in the award ceremony of the Union of Designers of Moscow for her contribution to the development of design in the modern socio–cultural space “DESIGN – 2022” and in the round table on “Culture as a tool of “soft power”.
-The round table on the topic “Culture as a tool of “soft power” became the final one in the forum. The moderator was Galina Merzlikina, President of the Center for International and Cultural-Business Cooperation “Culture for Life”, – “Culture has always been a platform of struggle for the minds and hearts of people. Today we are faced with the task of actualizing forgotten cultural images and symbols and continuing to search for new ones to preserve historical memory and create a decent modern image,” she said in her speech.

Elmira Siracheva, director, producer, Vice-president of the Center for International and Cultural-Business Cooperation “Culture for Life”, told about more than a decade of experience of cultural interaction with Arab countries, broadcasting openness and readiness for dialogue.
Irina Kenya, Chairman of the Board of the Mogilevtsev Brothers Foundation and head of the Tenishevsky Club, spoke about the cultural diplomacy of Princess Maria Klavdievna Tenisheva.
Alfiya Amirova, President of the International Women’s Union, head and organizer of major international events in Russia and foreign countries in the field of culture, including, using the example of her international projects “International Festival of Handicrafts and Crafts “By the Hands of a Woman” and the International photo Contest “Mother and Children in national costumes”, told about the preservation of culture and traditions of the peoples of Russia and the world in the conditions of modernity, with the support of masters of folk art crafts, artists, ethno designers of different nationalities. Both projects were included in the action plan of the Year of cultural Heritage approved by the Government of the Russian Federation.
- Laina Chaika, a public figure, Director General of the Foundation for the Support and Implementation of Spiritual, Patriotic and Socially Significant Projects “Spiritual Traditions of Russia”, spoke about the “soft power” of Fyodor Konyukhov and the construction of the Nicholas II temple, Alexander Klimashevsky, composer, pianist, Art Director of Grange, spoke about musical portraits and the universal language of Music, Pavel Rudchenko, Producer, Music critic, Member of the Expert Council on Culture of the Youth Parliament under the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, spoke about the role of content in interacting with young people.
On November 28, 2022, within the framework of the “Week of Soft Power in Russia” and the international humanitarian forum “Blue Handkerchief”, a number of joint events of the Center for International, Cultural and Business Cooperation “Culture for Life” and the Union of Designers of Moscow took place, the main of which were:

The award was established for the 35th anniversary of the Union of Designers of Moscow in April 2022, the first winners were outstanding people who have been in the service of society for many years, for whom design has become not just a profession, but a way of life.
“Designers create the world we live in. Our specialists painted the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, laid out mosaics of the Main Temple of the Armed Forces, participated in the design of the Gostiny Dvor, conquered the podiums of the world. This award is for the most worthy and respected,” Sergey Sergeevich Smirnov, president of the Union of Designers of Moscow, said in his address.
Every year, the list of the best will be supplemented by seven laureates, forming the elite of the design community.
Galina Merzlikina, chairman of the jury of the award, President of the Center for International and Cultural-Business Cooperation “Culture for Life” presented the winners of the 2022 prize of the Union of Designers of Moscow “DESIGN-2022” with medals and diplomas of the winners.
