Today’s topic: “The value of self”.

Recently, I often talk within myself about the value of myself and in general about the value of a person. In our time, it seems to me, many accents are shifting in connection with the pursuit of external achievements (although, perhaps, it has always been so – the unity and struggle of opposites, material and spiritual values is a philosophical question of our time). But since my work is connected with people, for me the most interesting and important in my life are people, i.e. a specific person with whom I communicate, do some things. So, what did I come to in my reasoning:
1. First of all, you need to value yourself, because value comes from within, it is impossible to respect, love, appreciate another if there is no quality, feeling within yourself.
2. The value of oneself begins with the fact that a person simply fixes his mood, state, opinion, actions. He attaches importance to everything he does, says, and feels. Nothing can be missed and nothing can be neglected. Even a small reaction to another person or situation, a change of mood or thought-everything is important. And you need to ask yourself the question: “what happened?” and find at least some explanation.
3. It is important to stop scolding yourself, stop blaming yourself for mistakes. The point is that a mistake is just an attitude. No one is going to deliberately commit some kind of stupidity or mistake on the principle: now I will go and do the wrong thing. We just do actions, maybe not always having time to understand in detail some nuances, something or someone to take into account, but we do something because we live, we want something, we strive for something. A mistake is a lesson, a kind of adjustment of our path, a reason to communicate, to participate in each other, in the world around us, and only that. It is important to stop worrying and start living.
4. It is important to find an explanation for everything that happens in life, without missing anything, so that there is a clear answer inside: what and why I do or have already done. This does not mean that you need to sit and think, doing nothing, you just need to explain everything for yourself, build an argument for why it could happen
just like that. Because there are no accidents in the world. And everyone knows it. Everything has to make sense. We need to find him.
5. It is important to seek the truth, not to make excuses, not to feel sorry for yourself, but to want to know the truth very honestly. Because justification is the search for rightness, defending one’s principles, defending oneself. And truth is a willingness to accept everything about yourself, whatever it may be, but “if it is mine, then I am ready to recognize it.” stop deceiving yourself, cover up your weaknesses, at least take this path. It is quite courageous, but without honesty there is no love or value.
6. And it is also very important to give importance to your intuition, to trust yourself, to learn to hear your feelings.
The value of the people around you is already built on this. I noticed that when I started doing what I write about, I became a significant person to many people I meet, and I don’t make an effort to do that on purpose. I live by giving importance to everything that happens inside me and everything that is near me, and this is felt, and people’s reactions are noticeable. I even came to the conclusion that if a person has this value inside, then he can live in any place and with any person, he becomes universal and convenient for himself and for others.
