The Day of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade is celebrated in Russia on January 27.
On this day in 1944, the order of the Military Council of the Leningrad Front on the complete liberation of the city from the blockade was read out on the radio.
Congratulations to veterans, besiegers, and all residents of the city on the anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade!
We wish you, dear Leningraders and Petersburgers, good health, kindness, prosperity and a peaceful sky over your head!
I bow low to you, dear veterans, defenders and residents of besieged Leningrad!
Eternal glory to the heroes — to all those who, without sparing themselves, fought for the freedom of the Motherland, for the sake of peace on earth and the happiness of future generations!
And our task is to preserve the historical truth and bring it to our descendants!!!
