In his speech, he emphasized that Bashkortostan is a living example of unity, where a special atmosphere of mutual respect has been created for centuries, where Europe meets Asia.
Dear colleagues, dear friends!Today we have gathered to discuss one of the most dynamic and significant industries – tourism. But we will talk about it not only as a source of income, but as a powerful tool for dialogue, mutual understanding and strengthening the spiritual and moral foundation of our society. This directly corresponds to the spirit and letter of the Decree of the President of Russia No. 809, where tourism becomes a practical mechanism for preserving our traditional values.Our Republic of Bashkortostan is a vivid example of how tourism is becoming a bridge between cultures. The unique geographical location at the junction of Europe and Asia, the historical intertwining of the destinies of Bashkir, Russian, Tatar and many other peoples have created an incredible cultural code here. And this code is becoming the main tourist capital of the republic, making it one of the most attractive destinations with enormous potential.The proof of this is the most serious investment support. Over the past two years alone, about 4 billion rubles have been allocated for the development of the republic’s tourism sector, of which 1.5 billion are federal funds under the national Tourism and Hospitality project. Thanks to this large-scale work, a truly comfortable and modern tourist infrastructure is being formed in the region.We are actively developing both popular and completely new routes. More and more tourists come to us to see the greatness of the Shulgan Tash cave, climb Mount Iremel, and swim in the purest lakes – Banny and Kandrikul.A new leisure format, glamping, is gaining popularity especially rapidly. This is a striking trend that shows how a modern tourist wants to interact with nature. If in 2020 there were only 5 of them on the territory of the republic, today the number of such facilities exceeds 120 units! And these are not just numbers, they are investments in the economy of the districts, new jobs and the opportunity to show our nature from a new perspective.This growth is a direct consequence of creating attractive business conditions. Unique locations, a growing flow of tourists and comprehensive support from the authorities are exactly the formula that promotes the active influx of new investors. Each new project is a contribution to the sustainable economic growth of the whole republic.And here I would like to emphasize that this development would not have been possible without the systematic support of the Head of the Republic Radiy Faritovich Khabirov and the Government of Bashkortostan. This is a strategic priority for us. Mechanisms to support investors have been created and are actually working, including tax incentives, subsidizing interest rates on loans, and assistance in connecting to infrastructure.Thus, tourism is really a bridge for Bashkortostan. A bridge connecting the past and the future, different peoples and cultures, economic ambitions and spiritual values. And we are confident that this path – the path of creativity and openness – is the key to achieving the lofty goals set out in the Presidential Decree.
