“International Women’s Union” at the forum “Women’s Health- well-being of the nation” represented by the Director of the Department of medical tourism Anna Vasilets!

On March 4, 2020, the forum “Women’s Health – well-being of the nation”was held at the World Trade Center in Moscow under the auspices of the Eurasian women’s forum under the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, together with the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation, with the support of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation. Anna Vasilets, founder and President of ATLAS Health group, Director of the medical tourism Department of the International Women’s Union, member of the General Council of Business Russia is an All Russia Public Organization, took an active part in this landmark event.

The key event of the forum was the plenary session in which the Chairman of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, the Minister of health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko, Minister of industry and trade of Russia Denis Manturov, Minister of science and higher education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkova, Director General of State Corporation for atomic energy “Rosatom” Dmitry Medvedev, the Plenipotentiary representative of RF President in Central Federal district Igor Shchegolev, head of the Federal medico-biological Agency Veronika Skvortsova, Governor of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Natalia Komarova.

Valentina Matvienko named the basic values that are at the forefront of all transformations in the country: increasing life expectancy, achieving active longevity, reducing mortality and increasing the birth rate, ensuring the availability and quality of medical care. She is sure that today is the time for active actions. Women actively participate in society. “One of the main goals of our forum is to promote the maximum inclusion of women in social and economic processes, in the fight for the health of the nation,” the Chairman of the Federation Council said.

The forum also held a thematic session, “open dialogue” with Ministers, governors and experts, which extensively discussed the role of women in the national project “Health” and the formation of a healthy way of life, the introduction of new technologies in the field of health and beauty, the development of international cooperation of women in the health sector.

At the forum, Anna Vasilets managed to communicate with the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Galina Karelova, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Olga Epifanova, head of the Central Directorate of health care-a branch of JSC “Russian Railways” Elena Zhidkova, as well as other guests and participants of the forum.
