A meeting with the Federation of Chinese Women of Jiangxi Province was held in Moscow

On August 19, 2024, the International Women’s Union met with a delegation from the People’s Republic of China.
The meeting was attended by the heads of the Federation of Chinese Women of Jiangxi Province.

The Chinese delegation included:

• Ms. Liu Li, Vice-Chairman of the Jiangxi Province Women’s Federation. Head of the delegation.

  

• Ms. Zhu Xue Gu, Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Women of Jiangxi Xinyu Province. The secretary of the party committee.

  

• Ms. Liu Yujun, Chairman of the Jiangxi Shangrao Municipal Women’s Federation. The secretary of the party committee.

  

• Ms. Zhou Liping, Head of the Department for the Development of Public Organizations and Public Relations of the Jiangxi Province Women’s Federation.

  

The Russian side took part in the meeting:

• Alfiya Amirova — President of the International Women’s Union.

  

• Rima Safiullova is the Vice President of the International Women’s Union. General Director of Agrofirma Kolos LLC.

  

• Gilana Mikhailova is the Head of Programs at the RANEPA Higher School of Economics, Executive Director of the National Association of Protocol Specialists.

  

• Elena Galibina is a member of the Council for Financial, Industrial and Investment Policy at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

  

• Nadezhda Lebedeva is an expert of the International Union of Women in the field of cultural studies. Full member, academician of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts.  Full member, academician of the Academy of Folk Art of Russia, etc.

  

Alfiya Amirova opened the meeting and greeted the guests. The President of the NGO “International Union of Women” spoke about the projects carried out by the union, such as the International Festival exhibition “Hands of a Woman”, the International photo contest “Mother and Children in national costumes”, the International Forum “Woman of the Third Millennium”, etc.

The head of the Chinese delegation, Ms. Liu Li, also spoke about the activities of the Women’s Federation  China, in particular Jiangxi Province, on ongoing projects and events.

Representatives of the Russian side made presentations.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on a number of topical issues and discussed possible interaction, partnership and cooperation in the fields of culture, education, social and national policy.

Following the meeting, the parties exchanged memorable gifts and took a common photo.

The meeting was held at the site of the State Budgetary Institution “Moscow House of Nationalities”.  We thank GBU “Moscow House of Nationalities” for the help in organizing the meeting and for the photo material provided.
