On June 21, 2023, the Moscow House of Nationalities hosted a regular meeting of the “VISION 3000 International Discussion Club” with the support of the Moscow Government (Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of the City of Moscow, GBU “Moscow House of Nationalities”).
The agenda of the meeting was devoted to the topic “Domestic and inbound tourism. Advantages and problems”.
The moderator of the discussion was the President of the discussion club “VISION 3000” – Amirova Alfiya.
The club was attended by representatives of authorities, the tourism industry, public figures who represent the tourism potential of Moscow, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Crimea, Karelia, the Republic of Dagestan, the Irkutsk Region, the Republic of Bashkortostan, and other regions of the Russian Federation.
Domestic tourism is an important component of the tourism industry, contributing to the development of local businesses and contributing to economic growth. It gives people the opportunity to explore their country, get acquainted with its culture and heritage, as well as take a break from everyday routine. Despite its many advantages, domestic tourism also reveals a number of problems, such as the lack of infrastructure and amenities in many destinations, as well as the potential for excessive tourism. However, by solving these problems and popularizing the diverse attractions available in each country, domestic tourism can continue to grow and flourish, giving people unique and unforgettable experiences and contributing to the growth and development of local communities.
As practice shows, inbound tourism, focused on the reception of foreign delegations, gives maximum profits to the treasury of the state and the region. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the specifics of inbound tourism and its theoretical foundations, which will clearly show the relevance of the topic.
Each of the speakers revealed the tourism potential of their region, shared their achievements and talked about the problems that still remain, discussed such problems as a shortage of personnel, staff training, service level, logistics, which still require improvement. During the work of the international discussion club, there was a gathering and exchange of views on a given topic, the development of possible joint initiatives and partnerships. Vardanyan Suren — Vice-President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Topic of the speech:” The role of the CCI system in the development of inbound tourism (domestic tourism is a point of growth)” (online format).
Artur Nikolaev — First Deputy Chairman of the Union “CCI of the Republic of Tatarstan”, Member of the Public Council under the Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan. Topic of the presentation: “Tourism opportunities of the Republic of Tatarstan”. (online format).
Vinokurova Natalia is a State Councilor of the first class. Deputy Head of the Department for Relations with Political, Public Organizations and the Media of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation with the report “Crimea: tourism, ideology, communication”.
Makarenko Ivan — Head of the Department for Interaction with Federal and Republican State Authorities of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Dagestan to the President of the Russian Federation with the report “Tourism potential of the Republic of Dagestan. Existing problems”
Moiseeva Kristina — Sales Director in the corporate segment of The Carlton, Moscow. Topic of the presentation: “Domestic and inbound tourism in Russia. Modern realities in luxury hotels. Moscow”

Nurova Lilia — Director of the Professional Personnel Information and Training Center, Advisor to the Honorary President of the Andrey Karlov Memorial Foundation, public representative of the ASI for the tourism track in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Topic of the speech: “The Republic of Bashkortostan is a hospitable land of bright discoveries”
Asia Biskup — Vice President of the International Women’s Union, Executive Director of the VISION 3000 International Discussion Club. The topic of the presentation: “Goals, objectives, mission” of the International Discussion Club “VISION 3000”.
At the end of the speakers’ work, a networking session was held among the speakers and participants of the meeting of the International Discussion Club “VISION 3000”.
