On September 28, 2020, the International women’s Union met with the International women’s club in the mansion of the Italian Embassy.
The meeting was attended by :
- The President of the International Women’s Club, Spouse of the Ambassador of Italy to Russian Federation Mrs. Karen Lawrence Terracciano.
- Irina Shallan -Steering Committee of the International Women’s Club, M&G Chair
- Linda Mjazeka – Steering Committee of the IWC, Charity Treasurer and Membership Co-chair
- Alfiya Amirova – President of the International Women’s Union, Head of the international project “By Hands of a woman”
- Anna Vasilets -Vice President and Director of the medical tourism Department of the International Women’s Union, founder and President of the Atlas of Health group of companies.
- Marat Shakirzyanov – Vice-President of the International Women’s Union, editor-In-chief of THE Embassy life ESMI.
The meeting was held in the Italian language . Anna Sviridova, a member of the International Union of Women, founder of the Italian culture and language club for older people (55+), acted as a translator.
The parties exchanged information on the activities of women’s communities.
In particular, Alfiya Amirova introduced representatives of the International women’s club to the organization’s activities, ongoing and planned events, and further development plans. She told about the international business platform “Woman of the third Millennium”, which will host the festival “By Hands of a woman”and the international exhibition “Medicine and tourism”and invited to participate.
Anna Vasilets stressed that women’s health issues are international in their importance. President of Atlas of Health group she spoke about preparations for the international exhibition “Medicine and tourism” (to be held on November 3-5, 2020, VDNH), which is a platform for further development of bilateral Russian-Italian relations.
