Vice President of the International Women’s Union as a leading expert at the Workshop Medical Tourism: “Medicine of South Korea”.

The Medical Tourism Workshop, organized by the National Tourism Organization of Korea, dedicated to the possibilities of medical tourism in South Korea, was held at the Ararat Park Hyatt in Moscow on July 12-13, 2021.

Anna Vasilets, Vice-President and Director of the Medical Tourism Department of the International Women’s Union, founder and president of the Atlas of Health Group of Companies, member of the General Council of “Delovaya Rossiya”, was invited as a leading expert, where she took part in meetings in the B2B format of medical service providers.

The Vice President of the International Women’s Union, the President of the Atlas of Health Group of Companies considered important issues of cooperation with clinics in South Korea and new opportunities for patients during the COVID-19 period.

The President of the Atlas of Health Group shared with representatives of clinics their experience of working with patients during the COVID-19 period. The players of the medical tourism market of South Korea spoke about the possibilities of the country’s medicine, the development of new strategies and the role of modern technologies. The relevance of the “second opinion” service for patients from Russia plays a huge role in connection with the closure of borders between countries.

An important part of the Workshop Medical Tourism was the presentation and acquaintance with new clinics in South Korea. Within the framework of the event Anna Vasilets discussed the possibilities of developing and popularizing medical tourism in South Korea in Russia with the Director General of the National Tourism Organization of Korea Kim Kwanghee.
