On February 11, 2020, the Russian foreign Ministry held the Grand opening of the photo exhibition “the World through the eyes of the wives of Russian diplomats”.
The exhibition featured photos from 70 countries – more than 500 photos taken by the wives of Russian diplomats from different parts of the world. Amazing and rare images taken by participants of the photo project, who are in different parts of the world due to the duty of their husbands-diplomats.
Earlier, this beautiful photo exhibition was presented by the Association of wives of Russian diplomats on November 3-4, 2019 at the site Of the international festival “Hands of women”.
The opening made by the representatives of the foreign Ministry, wife of the Great Russian diplomat Churkina Irina, a member of the Union of workers of culture of Russia, laureate of all-Russian contest of ensembles, art historian, virtuoso balalaika player Eugene Sapronov and soloist of the Academic choir of Russian song – Faith Strunina.
