A graduate of the faculty of political science of the University of Bari, he completed a master’s course in tourism marketing at the University of Milan “Bocconi”.
Today he is a consultant on the development of the tourist product at “Pulyapromotsion”, the Agency for the tourist promotion of the Puglia region. For many years he worked with the Agency, developing strategies for development in foreign markets.
He is actively working to strengthen relations in the administrative, cultural, tourist and economic spheres between Italy (and in particular Puglia) and Russia, is the founder and President of the Italian-Russian center for economy and development “Cesvir”, a company with offices in Bari and Moscow.
He was born in the region of Basilicata, famous for the city of Matera, but lives all his life in Puglia, in Bari. Its activities in the fields of tourism and cooperation eventually spread to Commerce, culture, rural economy and territorial marketing of the Puglia brand, as well as to the establishment and development of bilateral relations between administrative institutions and private companies located in Italy and abroad, especially in Russia. From 2007 to 2014 he served as an adviser to the mayor of Bari on relations with the Russian Federation.
He was the initiator and organizer on behalf of the Governor of the Puglia region of the 17th Italian-Russian task-Force summit on the development of small and medium-sized enterprises and economic segments: in 2010 in Bari and in subsequent years-in Italy and Russia; from 2008 to 2012 he headed the Bureau Desk Russia at the chamber of Commerce of Bari, through which he organized about 20 meetings of Russian distributors with Apulian manufacturers of segments of the textile industry, tourism, agro-food industry, renewable energy, mechanics and mechatronics Hm.
For 15 years he has been organizing cultural exchange projects between Puglia and Russia (may Festival of Russian art in Bari and other cities of Puglia and December Festival of Italian art in Puglia).
In September 2018, as President of Cesvir, he organized the Days of Moscow culture in Bari.
I am deeply convinced of the enormous spiritual, cultural and Ecumenical potential of the cult of St. Nicholas, able to bring together and unite Catholic and Orthodox Christianity in a common place of worship – the crypt of the Basilica dedicated to him in Bari.
A staunch supporter of the territorial and marketing links between the regions of Puglia and Basilicata, is in constant search of products of the highest level, worthy of promotion; active moderator of many conferences and official meetings in Italy and abroad, where Puglia and its treasures always receive the deserved attention.
In July 2019, he appeared on the cover of the Russian magazine “Italy”, headed by Nelly Ionkina, as the main person of the issue with an interview on 6 pages.
